HKODA Annual Awards Ceremony

HKODA will stage an annual Awards Ceremony on Saturday 31st January in Middle Island after racing at which prizes based on the annual ranking will be given out. We look forward to seeing many of you there.

Hong Kong Race Week 2026

A buzz of excitement is in the air as 152 optimist sailors from 11 Nations get ready to compete in what is shaping up to be a fantastic HK Race Week 2026. 12 races are scheduled for the optimist class over 4 days from January 29 to February 1. Remember to submit your measurement form before the deadline, Friday 23rd. We wish all sailors the very best of luck.

HKODA Open and National Championships 2025

Entries are now CLOSED for HKODA Nationals at 119 Sailors. No more registrations can be made on Clubspot. If anyone hasn’t yet registered for the HKODA Nationals, please do so before Sept 19 which is the 1st entry deadline.

HKODA Team Racing Open & National Championship 2025

Congratulations to all 53 sailors who participated in the HKODA Team Racing Open & National Championship 2025 on May 10/11 at HHYC. Light winds on day 1 saw the completion of 18 races in the round robin stage. 12 teams, including 2 from China, raced hard with 8 umpires monitoring their every move. Day 2 saw a steady 8-10 knots Northerly breeze settle in with 4 teams reaching the semi-finals. Congratulations to our winners RHKYC The Dolphins with ABC Tigers 2nd and HHYC Speedy Dragons 3rd.
